My rescue kitty lives outdoors and I needed a safe shelter for her. My husband secured this in the fork of a tree with the door facing south (protection from north winds) and it took her no time at all to start sleeping in it. We haven't tried the door, because she likes to look out.

We added a small, old bath rug under the cushion and she has spent a full day here during a serious rain storm. I no longer have to worry about the coyotes or roving dogs getting her at night.

We've had it 3 months and it has held up well so far. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I bought this for a feral cat that I had been feeding for 5 months and was living in bad conditions and I needed to relocate her to my front yard.

I bought the premium version with the warm cushy insert and door flap. It took awhile for her to learn going in and out of the flap (used yummy wet food to intice her), but she was a pro after a couple of days and just in time for the rain! I would feed her inside of it, to get her use to being safe and going in.

She was warm and snug in it and it also protected her from the nosey neighborhood cats. I was concerned about getting her a shelter that was warm and dry through the rainy and cold nights and this is it! On top of that, it's very stylish and looks great out front..
